Although most people still associate viral marketing with video and YouTube, achieving satisfactory results with commercial viral video marketing has become difficult, due to over saturation. Viral games however can still provide great results, almost always surpassing those of video campaigns, here’s why:

Viral game seeding is easier and provides more consistent results

There are many online games portals and community sites that will feature and actively promote your game for free. It’s relatively easy to get a game on the front page of a few high traffic games portals, potentially getting your game in front of millions worldwide, but try doing that with YouTube, or one of the other main video sharing sites. Over saturation on the video sharing sites has meant that it’s virtually impossible to make your video stand out from the vast number competing for your audience’s attention.

Viral games get consistently higher viewing figures

The ease of seeding and the fact that there is less competition means viral games typically get many times more views than videos. Millions (or even tens of millions) of worldwide plays are commonplace with viral games. Getting those sorts of numbers with viral videos is impossible for all but a handful of the very best viral videos.

You can embed clickable links in a viral game

One of the main things that make viral games so effective is the referral traffic they generate. It’s possible to put clickable web links within the game to drive traffic to your business, or a specific product website. Clickthrough rates on viral games are typically over 10%, much higher than other forms of online advertising such as banner ads. This is where viral videos fail. With no way to include clickable links it’s just a case of inserting a web address and hoping the visitors come. Obviously doing this just can’t compete with the direct clickthroughs generated by a viral game.

Viral games are interactive

Viral games draw the viewer in and encourage them to interact with your brand, rather than just passively watch the advert. This can give your advert a much greater impact, make it much more memorable and increase the chances of people coming back for repeat plays.

You get more for your money with viral games

Given the above and the fact that production costs are similar, viral games give you a much better return on your investment. Viral games consistently reach a much larger audience for roughly the same cost as viral videos.

You can easily, accurately monitor results with viral games

With viral games it’s possible to insert a viral tracking service (or even Google Analytics) into the code to track detailed visitor data across hundreds of sites and all through one dashboard. This makes it much easier to see and monitor the success of your viral marketing campaign. You can also track clickthroughs to your website accurately with viral games, because links aren’t possible within videos neither is accurate referral traffic tracking.

Viral videos can be used to promote games but not vice versa

This may sound a bit odd, considering everything preceding this, but inexpensive viral videos can be effectively used to boost traffic to a viral game. We often do this with the viral games we release, where we create a short gameplay video in order to further promote the viral game. Because it’s just a video capture of the game there is very little time, work and cost involved.

Although videos are the first thing that spring to mind when you mention viral marketing, games are definitely more effective and worthy of your marketing budget.

Employment options in the general market are coming under much scrutiny with businesses being shuttered by the economy and major corporations seeking government funding to stay afloat.

African American employment opportunities have historically been diverse due to cultural and social as well as economic considerations. The choices that African-Americans have had over the years have been dictated not primarily by their achievements or abilities, but the circumstances of their environment.

During the height of the Civil Rights movement, African American employment could boast more local business owners, teachers, factory workers and domestics because those were the opportunities available and African American had to service their own within the community because they were not welcomed in business establishments outside of it.

African American employment opportunities within the professional circles including medicine, law and accounting were rare due to a variety of discriminatory practices and the long standing “good ol’ boy network.” Those who “made the grade” became the real celebrities of the African American community as acknowledgment that you could “achieve it, if you believed it” despite the odds.

African American employment within the government ranks was also a challenge despite having “equal protection under the law” due to the same discriminatory practices exercised in the private sector.

While there are many trailblazers of note including Congressman Adam Clayton Powell Jr., Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and Dr. Charles Drew, giants who helped to dispel many of the stereotypes that hampered the expansion of African American employment, there are still remnants of those images and misinformation today that places African American employment options into specific categories that feature only physical or comical attributes.

Having a hit comedy series and leading a league in scoring is not a bad career choice, but it should not be considered the only career choice for African Americans. The fields of science and math are ripe with opportunities that could boost African American employment and dispel existing myths that people of color are only qualified to crack jokes or score points.

Engineers, doctors, professors, researchers, scientists, computer technicians and architects are in high demand with great salaries and their jobs provide less stress on the body and long term financial gains in addition to the achievements related to the position. The African American community needs to encourage not only diverse African American employment, but entrepreneurship as well in which to provide as diverse career pool as possible.

“President Obama and the current economy have given African Americans a new opportunity to gain employment through various methods including contractual hiring, short term projects and job creation,” notes Terry Allen, a nationally recognized small business consultant. “African Americans can be in a good place for a bad time. By this I mean that there is an incoming surge of appointments in my office of highly skilled displaced workers with the desire to take their talents and began the process to become entrepreneurs.”

Allen, who serves as the director of a not for profit small business center in Dallas, was instrumental in the creation of 198 jobs in 90 days. “Both our communities and local workforce has fallen victim to the distressed economy, however, the good news is that this new economic landscape can be a prime opportunity for those seeking to become owner managed businesses who can hire from a new, highly talented and very connected workforce.”

Many of the social issues that have impacted African American employment are not as prominent as they were in the past, but many of the racially motivated remnants still exist that often generate challenges against the competency of the applicant and their access to the technology and the opportunity.

“A technically savvy displaced employee can benefit in three ways including qualifying for assistance from the stimulus package; tapping into funds set aside to close the digital divide; or creating a company and hiring 20-25 other highly skilled individuals,” states Allen. “That African American entrepreneur then impacts the employment in their community and opens the door for more opportunity. The needs in the community have been heightened by the downturn in the economy so opportunity has grown accordingly.”

African American employment options must incorporate as wide a range of opportunities as possible so that everyone gets a chance to spread their intellectual wings and fly.

Google has over 28 million results when you search for free greeting cards.

This is a segment of the market that has grown dramatically over the past few years. Free greeting cards come in various forms including online greeting cards, free ecards, animated cards as well as a few companies offering free printable greeting cards.

Their growth is simple. The cards are free. They are quick to deliver and it’s easy to do. People who frequent such services like these facilities as well as the selection of what’s on offer. Most free greeting card service companies offer a huge selection including animated and or flash cards.

Such cards appear impressive when they arrive in your inbox but can be subject to email deliverability dangers as well. Spam filters today can be set up with numerous messages that stop well intentioned card mail from ever getting into your inbox.

123 Greeting cards and Blue Mountain are the biggest providers offering their potential clients thousands of free cards to choose from. As well as potentially having deliverabilty issues, free birthday cards can also contain advertising from such providers as 123 Greetings. While most people don’t mind supporting such companies by allowing their advertising to appear (actually you don’t get a choice), there is a danger of your recipient moving away from your well meant card and them spending more time at the card company site. I’m sure they appreciated your card but when some people discover these cards can have music, flashes and animation, the temptation is too much. Your card is deleted and it’s ‘hello’ free cards. Let’s hope you are on your recipients return list.

While flashiness matbe a novelty, quality is something that shouldn’t be. most free online cards including ecards look great on your computer but lose their quality once printed. You shoulkd never attempt to send yourself a free card and then print it with the mindset of posting it to friends or business colleagues.

Paper quality is generally inferior to printed greeting cards offered in card shops. Free online cards while quick and easy to use can also send a message to your recipient that they are part of a mass mail out. Feelings of not being special are also generally felt. If you are wanting to build business relationships, you should nver send free greeting cards. It says to the potential customer that they are not special and you can do without their business. Generally that is not the message you want to convey, but your cheapness has already conveyed that message sublimonally.

If you are wanting to mend a personal relationship or just enhance it, free cards can be delivered quickly but once again show your lack of care.

Personally I avoid such cards. I prefer to express my heartfelt messages by printed cards that I can personalize and where I have spent time and money carefully selecting the correct card for the recipient in mind. In doing so I know they feel special and appreciate my efforts. They also enjoy receiving cards the ‘old fashioned’ way - by mail.

Send free greeting cards if you are in a hurry. If you are about to miss a deadline, like somebody’s birthday, then perhaps send a free card. But if you really want to make a statement of “I care” spend time and money and send a physical greeting card.

Birthday Cards - Are You Sending Them?

Dec-30-2009 By GregoryReed

It was first considered that the early Chinese were the first to send greeting cards. There was evidence the Egyptians also included them into their scrolls.

By the 1400s the Germans started to send cards but the big movement happened in the 1850’s when stamps first allowed cards to be sent quickly and efficiently.

Since then the growth of cards has been staggering to now top over 7.5 billion in the US alone. Sending of birthday cards has been a major segment of this growth. Why?

A birthday is considered by most people as their most important day of the year. It’s the day to celebrate their being born. We also celebrate religious birthdays as well. The birth of Christ, Budda’s birthday and so on.

It’s good practice to send birthday cards to family, colleagues and business associates. Provided it’s done in a heart felt way, recognising a person’s birthday shows you care about them and want to celebrate their special day. It’s therefore essential you get into the habit of collecting birth dates from people and storing them into a database so you can easily be reminded of an impending birthday. Everytime you meet a new business associate make sure you get their birthday as well. If you are wanting to develop a long term business relationship with this contact, sending a birthday card will place your name in front of them one more time.

There are many types of birthday cards you can send including online birthday cards, free email birthday cards, printable birthday cards, Hallmark cards or American birthday cards. Whatever you choose, make sure it reflects who you are. Email type birthday cards are quick and can be very animated and flashy but they may also send a message that you are in a rush and didn’t spend a lot of time choosing a personal card.

Printable cards from specialised card sites allow you to choose from lots of templates but you need to check the quality before you post to your best friend or new client. A poor quality card can sour your relationship quickly. Hallmark Cards and American Greeting Cards are the world’s largest and provide a good selection. But there again perhaps you are wanting to make an impact with a personalised card?

Depending on who you are sending your birthday card to you need to personalise your message. Naturally you’ll need to mention the occassion ie “Happy Birthday” and perhaps add a memorable moment you shared with the recipient. Knowing what you and the recipient have in common will make writing a card easier. You can refer to interests or even business dealings if you think it’s appropriate. But remember to make it heart felt. If the card smells of a business promotion, you’ll soon have your recipient running for cover.

One of the best ways to send cards is to have a birthday list; whether you do this in a special book or online. Today there’s plenty of services that can highlight forthcoming birthdays so you won’t forget to send a card.

There are even online programmes that will allow you to set up a birthday list, create a campaign and have personalised cards automatically sent to friends and customers. You’ll never forget a birthday again!

Whatever you do, make sure you send somebody a birthday card soon. It’s their most important day and they’ll be tickled pink you remembered them.

If you’ve ever run across the old joke that “fish” should actually be spelled “ghoti” (“gh” as in “tough,” “o” as in “women” and “ti” as in “nation”), then you won’t be surprised to know that many companies put this quirk of the English language to work by concocting an alternate spelling of a key word for their name. This associates their organization with a certain quality while standing out with a unique-looking name.

Examples of creatively spelled names that sound like a real word include:

Acxiom

Cinergy Health

Chempetitive

Enalasys

Engauge

Flikr

Genesys

However, the perils of this strategy are many. First, sometimes not everyone understands the original word, as with “axiom” and “synergy.” In that case, the intended implication of the company name gets even more lost with the creative spelling.

Second, many of the creative spellings are extremely hard to remember accurately. I’m quite sure I could never remember how to spell Enalasys, even if I remembered that it sounded like “analysis” and started with an “E.” There are two additional spelling changes in that eight-letter name. Note that on the Internet, someone who gets your company’s spelling only partially right will not find your web site and may not be able to get email through to your employees.

Third, these names can be difficult to pronounce when seeing them “cold.” This point gets overlooked because a popular site like Flikr has many people talking about it, and once you’ve heard there’s a photo-sharing site called “flicker,” you readily understand that that’s how the name is said. But just from looking at the name, you might equally want to pronounce it as “Fly-ker” – or just be struck silent at the unfamiliar sequence of “k-r” at the end of the name. Likewise, I’m not sure from the spelling whether “Genesys” is supposed to be pronounced like the English word “genesis” or like the separate parts – “Jean-sis” (which emphasizes the component word “gene”).

Fourth, creatively spelled names with a double meaning like Chempetitive (sounds like “competitive” but suggests chemicals) or Engauge (sounds like “engage” but suggests measurement as in “gauge”) do not easily pass the telephone test. Their significance doesn’t come across to the ear. That is, someone hearing “Competitive” wouldn’t suspect the connection to chemicals – or the correct spelling.

And fifth, when you have a creatively spelled name, it becomes tiresome to spell it out every single time you say it to a new vendor or potential client. Take it from someone blessed with the last name of Yudkin!

If you’re a visual person, thinking mainly of how a company name might look on signage and a logo, you might value these names highly because of their distinctive eye appeal. However, it would be a mistake to forget about all the business situations in which communication happens primarily by ear.

With a sizeable marketing budget, you can overcome these disadvantages to a certain extent, drilling the correct spelling and punctuation into the minds of the public. After all, most people got it that AT&T’s wireless company was pronounced “singular” but spelled with a “C.” But if you have a limited marketing budget, it’s best to select a new company name that can be understood right off correctly by both the eye and the ear.

3 Keys to Article Marketing

Dec-29-2009 By LarryVingelman

If you haven’t had the chance to utilize Article Marketing, you are missing out on one of the best innovations to market your business. There are three main keys to Article Marketing, and if you do everything correctly you could find loads of traffic and targeted traffic coming from several different directions. Today we’re going to give you an inside look at three things you should always do when utilizing a campaign that revolves around articles.

Keywords and Tools

Listen, it’s great to come up with and write your own information, but without good keywords it will be hard for individuals to find you. Sure, you can submit your content to 100 different article directories, but unfortunately people will be searching for specific keywords. So how do you find good keywords for your article marketing? Well, it starts by either using a free tool (Word Tracker, Google Adwords keyword tool, etc.), or a paid version with more options.

We’ll leave that decision up to you, but the goal is to find keywords and phrases that have a high search rate and low competition. This makes it easier for you to reach the front pages of places like Google, Yahoo and Bing. So let’s say you’re promoting DVD players and “blu ray dvd players” is a great keyword phrase. Everytime someone types in this same phrase you will be at the top of the list for them to see.

Backlinking and Directories

The main goal of Article Marketing is to get readers interested by providing helpful information. When you utilize directories that offer links after they’ve read the article, you are providing a backlink source to your site. A great example of this is when you visit somewhere like Ezine Articles. There are tons of informational pieces on their site and each one offers a clickable link to revert to each individual website.

While many people believe you need to get as many backlink as you can, you will still be successful in this area if you utilize the right directories. Places like Ezines, Ehow, iSnare and various other big names will provide more relevance, which is what the search engines enjoy. If you can mesh this together with good keywords and phrases, you have yourself a near perfect marketing strategy.

Building Knowledge

The area that most often gets overlooked is just obtaining more knowledge around Article Marketing. For instance; did you know that the search engines don’t feel keyword density is as important as the integration of your keywords or phrases? Granted, they do keep an eye on those who try to stuff articles with keywords, but there has never been any solid proof on an exact density.

So if you focus more on where you put them you will have better results as well. A good example is the importance of your title. While it needs to draw attention, a more targeted approach would be to place the keywords in the first section of the title. Why? Well, when a search engine crawls through your content, it’s looking from left to right. Plus, placing it within the first 100 words will also be a good choice.

We could go on for hours, but if you use these 3 key factors to Article Marketing, you will find yourself on top sooner than you think! Who knows, once you start getting the hang of it you might try something like eBook Publishing to share your tips and secrets.

Let me begin by saying that we are all humans and there is no one business model that is right for all kind of people. Now the question is how can we find out what is right for us? Is there some kind of process that we can utilize to make the decision making a little easier? Well, there are a lot of processes we can use. The one I am going to talk about is the one I personally used and recommend for those looking to start a home business. You might find it useful too. At the very least, give it a try and see how the home business ideas work for you.

What I think is the best thing to do is to first of all sit down and decide what kind of person you are. Are you a type A or type B kind of person? A certain type of people handles stress better than others. Starting a home business can be very demanding, especially when things dont go as smoothly as expected. So if you are the kind of person who has problem dealing with a lot of stress, you might want to consider a more simple business model that can be carried out with just a couple hours of work a day.

After you have determined what type of person you are, the next step is to look at your skills and expertise. Are you a skillful kind of individual? Can you type or write well? Do you have computer skills? The more skillful you are, the more complex a home business model you can comfortably go for. That does not necessarily mean that you cant pick a complex model if you dont know how to start a home business or technologically related. There is often the option of outsourcing the entire task that has to be carried out which brings us to the next step in the process.

How much capital do you have to invest in your home business ideas both initially as well as on a monthly basis? If you are short of cash, this is going to limit things that you can do. However, if you have a lot of cash to invest, this opens up more arrays of opportunities. The reason I emphasize this step is because you dont want to get yourself into something that you wont be able to carry on until you start making money because the initial expense is too high. This only puts more pressure on you and if youre not good at handling pressure then you are going to run into lots of troubles.

Lastly, you want to look at how much time you can put into your home business. Are you already employed or are you currently unemployed? Obviously, the more time you put into your new business, the quicker income you can make. It took me over 5 months to earn income when I first began, but thats something else because I really did not know what I was doing at that time. I have since learned from all my errors which is why I am sharing this little home business ideas with you today.

Operating a business requires work, just like any kind of job out there. The difference is that you are the boss in charge of your affairs. And that makes it exciting. There is no boss to fall back on and nobody else to criticize. In other words, its a lonely place.

Starting a home business its not for everybody except if you are ready to comply with the above article on how to start a home business.

Best Wishes,

John Benjamin

4 Ways to Find Sources of Extra Income From Home

Dec-29-2009 By JohnBenjamin.O

When we discover that our monthly earnings no longer covers all we need and want, we have no alternative except to look for extra income. As much as that may be a strain on our present way of life, it may be the only option. At this stage individuals will put their hopes into a higher paying job, but that never seems to go as intended. Once the extra income starts coming in somehow we often find ways to lavish it.

Firstly let’s come up with a plan. Be aware that another job isn’t always a bad idea, it’s just that it is not the only option to earn extra cash - and that is what we are searching for, isn’t it? To get the most power from earning extra cash, you have to watch your spending. Create a budget that works for you. A budget is simply a tool that shows you how to spend your income. If you are able to manage your budget, then the money you earn from home can be used for other things besides bills.

When you need to earn money fast here are some sources you can explore

Temporary Agencies - While a temporary employment agency may be a better choice for short-term income, they can often lead to longer lasting job if you are what the company is searching for.

Craigslist - This website was built to reach local communities throughout the globe. You can go to the website and see if a city near you is listed. There are lots of requests for work from home jobs and services to be performed for payment. If you find something appropriate be quick to respond to these posts as soon as they show up, or you may lose the offer.

Networking - Talking with everyone you know to see if anyone needs assistance by using your abilities is a great way to shine and earn income too. Spread the word, whether you are looking to work from home or outside the home, let people know you are looking, it is not always who you know, but who knows the people you know that leads to opportunities.

Internet Income - This is fast becoming one of the favorite methods to earning money from home. Why? Because the start-up capital is little, the risk is minimal and the commute is as short as it gets. The possibilities are endless, as the web is not even close to market saturation. The scope of this article is not to cover all of the ways to work from home online. You can carry out an online search for different ways to use the Internet to earn money fast. One word of advice, you have to be careful because some unscrupulous people are using the internet to trick people out of their own money. One simple way to do this is by searching for the name of site or company with the addition of the word ’scam’. If it’s a popular scam there will be a lot of websites warning you. Ensure to do a due diligence and you can find something to earn extra income.

As there are several reasons why you may be seeking extra cash, there are just as many ways to find legitimate work from home job. Speaking from experience it is difficult to find anything better than home jobs. With a bit of searching and the right attitude, you could be raking in more than you ever imagined from the comfort of your home.

Best Wishes,

John Benjamin

Your internet marketing strategies have everything to with the Psychology of persuading. You have to understand how people think, and what makes them say “yes” to a buy. This concept is one of the reasons an internet marketer will go from good to great. They spend time studying people, and what makes them tick. They learn that people don’t trust right off the bat, and need to get to know you before they trust you. Being consistent in a message will help you grow that trust with ease.

Testing has been done in the psychology of persuading over the years by analyzing how people finally say yes. In essence, these tests are saying that people want to be consistent with previous actions.

If they said yes to something in the past, they are more likely to say yes in the future.

What does this mean to you as an internet marketer? You want to get your prospects to say yes to something small. The best way of doing that is to ask them for a tiny commitment first before the big sale. You don’t want to ask for the largest sale right off the bat.

Here is an example of what I mean, and how it could apply to your internet marketing sales funnel. For the purpose of demonstrating an idea, I’m going to use training and coaching as the product in the sales funnel.

First, have them opt in to your auto responders, and download a free report, or short video series. You could have these videos add up to about 10 minutes in length, or 10 minutes in reading.

The next step is to offer them the Expanded or Upgrade version of a few videos on this topic. These videos would be longer and add up to 45 minutes or an 1 hour. Remember, this is all really valuable content, not just fluff. Give them something they can sink their teeth into.

After that series, offer them the opportunity to buy the “DVD” for a lifetime reference. This DVD again will provide super valuable content. Think about what they will want, and where their mind is when they are making their first official purchase. Since this is their first purchase, make it small, around the $19.97 price point.

Next you might offer them free 10 minute consultation if they bought your DVD. Make sure that the DVD is good content that keeps them wanting more. This consultation is a perfect point for them to get to know you personally. Be real, authentic, and helpful. Your underlying goal here is to help them with their problem. You always want to help them first, and foremost.

Once they have gotten to know you, they will now trust you, and begin to really value you for what you can offer them. You are now providing them a consistent solution to their problem. The next buying proposition could be “Private access to training” in a group setting. This time the value is raised and the price is $395. You want to also make a 110% money back guarantee, so they feel the risk is low. The key is to under promise, and over deliver. You keep them wanting more.

The next phase in the sales funnel could be a opportunity for “Private one-on-one coaching”. This is a larger ticket item. It could cost $2,000 and includes 200% money back guarantee. You will guarantee that without any doubt, they will get results or get their money back and free coaching. This is about over delivering on a solution to their problems.

Of course, this is an example of a sales funnel, and not everyone is selling internet marketing training - but you can get the idea. The idea is that if you provide valuable content, in small doses, they will want more. The lesson here is really about trust combined with value, and having patience with your newly found prospect. Once they buy from you once, and find what you have to offer is extremely valuable, they will come back for more.

We are a husband and wife team who were at the end of our rope. We had given up our six figure jobs to start a brick and mortar business and invested upwards of a quarter of a million dollars to end up with absolutely nothing at the end of a seven year push. How to Make Money Online From Your Passions

Dec-29-2009 By AnanthSanth

To make money online it is necessary to be well prepared rather than to jump blindly then feel sorry for yourself. You know that to be a rocket scientist,a construction worker,an engineer,a doctor or a teacher you need to have basic training to launch yourself into a carrier, the same applies to online business.

Here in online business you will find some people who will mislead you into believing that internet marketing is a child’s play and all you need is to believe in yourself. But the truth is you need the right support to launch.

In a sense internet marketing is a child’s play as compared to the outside world where you will have to clock a number of hours of work, travel and a boss who may not have your interest in mind. Here in internet marketing you will have to follow certain rules and pitfalls to make it a success.

Most people will make no cash, then there are those who will make in a month what others make in a year. Why is that so?

It’s an age old question,Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?Their can be not definite answer to it.I think, forget about it.There is no conclusive answer to it.I have no clue so do most.

But I have a clue that in internet marketing you need to have passion for the company product and/or services of an internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion really means that you have researched the company and its products and/or services. It is the defining moment which will lead to education, work and excitement. This is the magic of passion.

I will have to say that there are those online entrepreneurs who are so good at selling anything that passion does not ring a bell. But my concern is for those who are not so knowledgeable about internet marketing.

Now,I am not trying to tell that passion is the only thing necessary for a successful internet business. You certainly need a good website, good marketing techniques, widespread advertising, company support, good key words and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join. But without passion your chances of succeeding diminish.

Thus we can infer that without passion for the company and it’s products and/or services we may not implement all that is taught by the company. Thus our chances of success reduce.

Online business is certainly not very difficult or time consuming. But you need to have motivation caused by passion to work sturdily towards success.

You have a great opportunity to use the internet search engines to search for internet marketing industry for business opportunities. USE IT!

Your research will prove fruitful as you will be able to find the right company with good products and/or services based on sound principles till then move on.It is a question of your passion. You can find the right opportunities with the above attributes.

Thoughts like that is a good plan and the compensation is excellent I should join it certainly is not based on passion. Those internet gurus like I said before certainly can sell anything online so don’t get tempted, most of them are not doing it for passion.

Your end goal on internet marketing is to be able to sell anything on the internet. The end skill and the goal with your passion is a worthy one indeed.

But you should remember that first you should take those steps before entering internet marketing. If you don’t find the right company then you will have to go through a lot of frustrations and your success may come to question.

Not being passionate about a company and it’s products and/or services but knowing it is doing well in marketplace is a pitfall that you must avoid.

Why Can’t Exes Become Friends?

Dec-29-2009 By AnthonyMalibu

Your ex dumps you… but suggests you still remain friends. Is this a good idea, or is it an arrangement that’s doomed to failure? Learning the many reasons why exes can’t become friends will save you heartache and pain later on. Make sure you understand why the exboyfriend or exgirlfriend friendship is always a bad idea.

So you’re cruising along, the relationship is going good, and then suddenly it happens: the breakup. Whether you left for your own reasons or your ex happened to dump you, you’re left with many questions. Do I ever see this person again? Should I call them, email them, text them, or talk to them over the phone? Do I delete my ex from my Facebook friends page? What exactly is the proper friends with ex etiquette?

For many reasons, you simply cannot be friends with your ex. Most of the reasons are internal: one or both of you will always be jealous of the other person’s successes - both in love and outside of it. The other reasons come from outside either of your control: new people who come into your lives simply won’t want the two of you in contact with each other. Why not? Primarily because you’ve slept together.

Once you’ve seen each other naked, it’s impossible to go back to a platonic relationship again. Even friends with benefits run into these types of problems later on down the road: the desire to be a couple will always be greater on one end of the friendship than on the other. Even in the case where both people claim to be totally cool with “not dating”, there are still secret feelings and emotions that one or both of those people harbor for the other. And over time, those emotions turn bad… breeding jealousy and resentment.

Why can’t exes become friends? Because you know too much. You were too close, too involved, and too wrapped up in an emotional bond with the person you dated. Your boyfriend or girlfriend is going to go on and have a life of his or her own, and they’re going to start dating other people. When they do, how will that make you feel? Can you honestly be happy for them, or will you just go through the motions? How disingenuous will you act toward your ex when he or she begins seeing someone else, spending less and less time with you? And can you handle it when your ex’s new lover keeps them away from you for good?

Being friends with your ex is easily accomplished in the weeks or even months after the relationship ends. Unfortunately however, it can’t last forever. Forces are going to pull your friendship apart from every direction, as one or both of you begins to move on. While you’re both still single, you can make an honest effort to carry on a platonic relationship. In some cases, exes can even sleep with each other with little jealousy or ill effects. But this type of pseudo-friendship (or pseudo-romance) can’t go on forever. One person is always going to want just a little bit more than the other.

Before even considering whether exes can become friends, ask yourself a question: do you really want to be friends with your ex? Or are you just doing it to get close to them again? Because if you’re still in love with your exboyfriend or exgirlfriend… friendship sure isn’t going to make things better for you. In fact, it’s going to make things far, far, worse.

Staying friends with your ex after breaking up is never really a possibility. Especially not if you still love and want your ex back in your arms again. You need to be honest with yourself, and with them. If you truly want to get back together with your ex - and not just make friends with them - you need to work toward that goal. There are several techniques for getting your ex to want you again, and instant methods that will put you right back in their thoughts. Learning these ways can make the difference between getting trapped in the Friend Zone or actually winning back the heart and soul of the person you love.

There are 8 Individual Steps that will Get Back Your Ex Girlfriend… or in the case of an ex boyfriend, Win your Boyfriend Back. Don’t settle for being friends with an ex when what you really want is a long-term, lasting relationship with them.

Top Online Coupon Code Sites

Dec-29-2009 By JasonKay

One the fastest growing types of websites online today are websites that give coupon codes to their visitors. Coupon code sites give exactly what it sounds like; a coupon in the form of a code that can be entered at a retailer’s online website and then redeemed for a special savings. These days it seems that almost every type of major retailer has coupon codes out there just waiting to be redeemed it is all a matter of knowing where to look in order to take advantage of them.

The obvious place to look when trying to find the best online coupon code sites is, well, online. However if you simply conduct a search for ‘online coupon code website’ you will get too many returns to count. With that in mind, here are what many believe to be the top coupon code websites around:

• Retailmenot.com: Retailmenot.com has coupon codes for the taking to over 40,000 different stores, restaurants, you name it. They also have a section where you can print different coupons that you can take to the retailer’s brick and mortar store and redeem for savings. There is no cost to use their service and the best part is that you can see how effective the coupon codes are before you decide to use them as users just like you go back to the site and say whether or not the code worked for them.

• Couponcabin.com: Couponcabin.com also has tens of thousands of online coupon codes and is free to use. They have many different print and clip coupons that can be used in addition to their coupon codes and their site is very easy to use and easy to navigate. At the site’s homepage you will find a map that you can click that will pinpoint your specific area and allow you to hone in on all the deals that are going on in and around your neck of the woods.

• Couponcodes4u.com: Another free and easy to use service, coupons4u.com offers coupon codes and printable coupons as well. Their site not only has a way to browse by letter, but you can also see the most popular codes and some of the best offers that are currently available right on the homepage. Along with retailers and restaurants, you can also find coupon codes for airline tickets, hotel stays, and even movie tickets.

With the holiday season here sites such as these are really gaining momentum. Because the sites are so popular many of the codes that are listed change on a daily basis. But there is always something for everyone at these online coupon code sites no matter what time of year it is.

So before you buy all of your holiday gifts or even when you are going to buy someone a birthday gift, give one of these sites a look and see what you can save. They are all free to use and in these tough times who couldn’t make use of a little extra savings?

Jason Kay recommends using an Amazon coupon code to save on purchases at Amazon.com.

While there is a method that online experts throughout the online world are using to build huge groups, the real money lies in the selling of online Facebook groups. Money is the name of the game, and this article will focus on selling your Facebook group once it is created.

Performing a search on the prestigious social media property will show an amazing number of groups on various subjects. Picking a group you find interesting will help you to be passionate about your topic. As long as there is an audience for your target market, you are in business.

In the same way that a virus spreads from person to person, a group can grow like a hot fire if it is planned correctly. Learning how to build groups from scratch can lead to a new group being created out of thin air every week. The process itself is only limited by your own imagination and time. Plot out your course to online domination by setting aside a specific number of hours each week to do your research on Facebook, create 20 friends daily, and invite these friends to your new group every time you bring one into existence.

In the end, though building your business in this manner takes time. It can pay off hugely in the long run because you have created an asset that many investors will value due to its popularity.

Disadvantages of Working at Home

Dec-29-2009 By JasonKay

To many it may seem that the ultimate dream would be working at home. While it is certainly true that working from home can have a number of advantages, there are also a number of disadvantages as well. Being your own boss is sometimes a challenge and although you don’t have to deal with the hustle and bustle of a nine to five job, you do have to deal with many other factors that people in the normal job market simply don’t have too.

There are many disadvantages to working at home that should be considered before you decide to quit your regular job and give self employment a whirl, some of these include:

•No motivation: While it is true that your income level is never capped when you work for yourself, it is also true that there is no one that is going to motivate you to succeed except yourself. This takes a disciplined person as it is much easier to sleep until 10 am than it is to get up a 6 am and get yourself working. When you work for someone else, you have times that you are required to work and you are usually motivated by your supervisor or boss, but at the home front, there is no such person so you need to be sure you are a good self motivator.

•No benefits: Not that every nine to five job has benefits but a lot of them do and if you work at home you can rest assured that you won’t. Yes you can get your own health insurance and fund your own retirement accounts, but you have to be sure you are making enough money to sustain the business itself before you can do anything for yourself benefit wise.

•No steady pay check: One of the nice things about a nine to five job is the fact that you know every week, or every other week, you will receiving a pay check. In other words, you are paid for the time you put in. When you work from home, many times it is feast or famine and there is never any guarantee that you will see a paycheck at the end of the week. In fact there are many hours put into a home business that you may never see a dime on.

•No paid holidays: When you work from home there is no such thing as a paid holiday. To be successful in your home business you often get little to no time off, let alone time off that you are paid for. Usually when you are working from home, you only get out of it what you put into it.

•No relief of stress: When you work a regular nine to five job, at the end of the day you can go home and forget about work until the next morning. No such luck when you work from home. Since it is your business, you will be worrying about it 24 hours per day, seven days per week; there is no getting around this fact.

Working from home can be a wonderful way to earn a living, but you do have to consider that it will not be all roses and look at the bad as well as the good before you decide if it’s really what you want to do.

While surfing online, you may have come across an ad that looks an awful lot like a news article, or video, that features a regular person who claims they make money posting on Google. To make it even more intriguing, this person seems normal enough and is even from your local area.

In many ads, the woman’s name is Mary Steadman, but it may also feature one of her friends:

Sarah Wilmington, John Blanksey, Jerry Reynolds, Lisa Johnson, Rachel Appelton, Betsey Johnson or Cindy Peterson. Variations of these names are also frequently used.

The job they all claim to do is easy enough – posting links on Google. So, now you’re wondering:

Can I make money posting links on Google?

The quick answer is no.

No matter how convincing these ads look, the fact is, Google does not hire individuals for this type of work. Google themselves has posted information stating that these type of ads are nothing but scams, and to beware of any ads claiming that Google endorses a particular income producing kit.

So, why is this happening?

Because there are unscrupulous people who are using hard economic times to take advantage of the unsuspecting public. While the U.S. FTC agency is aware of these types of schemes, they are currently swamped with trying to keep up with the recent spread of this insidious scam.

What can I do to protect myself?

The first thing you can do when you come across an ad like this is to have a healthy dose of skepticism. These ads are designed to trick you into believing that they are talking about someone from your local area. In reality, the company behind the ads uses fancy technology that reads the IP address from your computer. Each IP address has an assigned location.

Someone living in Spokane, WA will see that Mary Steadman lives in their town. While another person who lives in Mesa, AZ will think that Mary Steadman is from their area. This is all done with technology. They figure that you’re more likely to believe someone who comes from the same place as you, and, they’re right.

But, the story sounds so real.

Mary may seem like a real person, but she’s as fake as a pair of acrylic nails. Whoever wrote up her story is very good at making her seem like someone you’d know. Too bad they are wasting their great writing talent on scamming people.

It seems cheap to get the information, so what’s the harm in signing up?

Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up to receive anything related to making money posting links. They make it sound like all you will pay is a small fee to receive this special money making job information. However, once they have your name and credit card number, you will be billed $79.95 per month for the privilege.

This information is sometimes contained in the fine print that many people don’t read. You see, the scammers know that you’re going to respond to an ad like this out of desperation, or curiosity. And, unfortunately, for those who have found out the hard way, once they have your personal details, it is very hard to cancel this charge.

Sure, you can call their customer service number (if you can find it) to cancel. For those who are lucky enough to get through to an actual person, they may accept your cancellation request, but go ahead and keep charging your card anyway. These are big time scammers, so anything they say cannot be trusted.

Many people who fell for this scam have found it nearly impossible to have the monthly charges stopped. The only sure way to stop these people from taking your money is to CANCEL your credit card completely. I know this is a hassle, but these people are playing hardball with your money, so it’s better to just cut your losses.

Another thing they will do is send you more bogus job offers. Remember, you never have to pay anyone for information regarding a real job. Paying for information concerning a legitimate business opportunity is okay, but if you’re just looking to be hired help, then stick to traditional resources.

It’s unfortunate that there are bad apples who are willing and able to take advantage of honest people, but this is a fact. They are using the bad economic conditions to stuff their own pockets with cash.
